    Savage S2000 Drivers?

    Hi does anyone know where I can get updated savage S2000 Drivers? And whats a better card performance wise a TNT2 M64 PRO 32 mb or the savage S2000 with 64 mb? Thanks in advance for replys.

    I forgot to add that the tnt is pci and the s2000 is an agp.

    I would go with the S2000 64mb over the TNT. If it was a TNT Ultra then it might give the S2000 a run for its money. Seems pretty decent in OpenGL, falls behind in D3D.

    I had the 32mb version a long time ago. It was a decent little card. Overclocked decently with a fan on the heatsink.

    I would also say that it depends on what OS you are using. I previously had a Savage 4 in a Windows 2000 box. After upgrading to windows 2k, it became impossible to find a decent driver since i believe s3 never released any drivers for 2k. My recommendation is to stay with your card if you're running win9x. On the other hand, if youre using win2k or XP, i would send your savage 2000 out to pasture and get a cheap Nvidia or Ati card.
