    Resolution question. plz help

    Supposed i want to play a game at 1024x768 do i need to set my desktop at that resolution or i can keep it at 800X600 and the game will use 1024X768?

    nope, you can have a 800x600 desktop resolution and still play games over that

    Of corse your monitor and graphics card need to be able to support that resolution, but 1024x768 is pretty safe on almost any graphics card made in the last 10 years and any monitor of 15" or more.
