    How do you decide when to overclock

    I think most overclockers overclock their computer for fun and not necessity. There will never be a time when you need to overclock... the time will come though when you need to upgrade.

    I don't "need" to overclock but i want to learn just because i think it would be fun to try

    You mean people actually own their systems for more than a couple minutes without overclocking...that's just unheard of

    I personally try to hand select the components with the sole purpose of overclocking. Maybe that's why I'm always replacing stuff???
