    Thumbs down "Latest HwC News & Reviews" makes page look cluttered

    I don't know if it's required by your business model or some sort of planning, but the "Latest HwC News & Reviews" bar makes the page together look cluttered, almost like there are three different bars on the page, the Ad Bar, the Title Bar, and then the "Latest HwC News & Reviews" Bar. I donna like it.

    that and the huge ads on the top and the side. top isnt that bad, but the side one... ergh. even less real text space with vb than with the ubb

    I think it's better if the huge ad on the top of the page to be put at the current latest HwC News & Reviews place.
    The ads could easily fit the size and therefore it would look like the old BB.

    Why are some of the thread posts so wide????. I don’t like scrolling back and forth to read a paragraph. I’m still running 800x600 on a 15” monitor and I know people on 17” monitors running that resolution too. .

    It might help if you linked to one or two of the problems. In particular though, [code] tags will cause the screen to scroll horizontally if long lines are posted.

    It's gonna stay, because HwC is both a content site and a forum; of course people are free and welcome to visit only one or the other, but we see no need not to make folks aware of both (and reduce the few cases we've had of forum posters saying, "I haven't looked at the article pages in months. Say, has anybody seen any info about such-and-such?", when an article about it went up days earlier).
