    RTCW problems

    hi and welcome to all!

Just got Return to Castle Wolfenstein and I seem to running into rpoblems.

    I run a P4 1.47 with 128 MB RDRAM with a GeForce 4 MX440-Gainward AGP card.

The game seems to be hanging every time I run the game.
The game hangs when The opening movie starts and till now I havent been able to get into the game.

    any suggestions?

Usually the first thing you need to do is to update your drivers, and make sure DirectX 8 or above is installed.

Try setting this line in your wolfcfg (inside the RTCW folder->"Main." You'll see two config files (one for single player and one for multiplayer), open the single player version and edit the line "IntroPlayed" (or something that looks like that- I can't remember offhand as I don't have it installed anymore) to 1.
