Unreal Tourny 2003, when?
Does anyone know when unreal tournament 2003 is coming out? Because that game looks so cool I just cannot wait to get it.

I heard late this year. Try Serious Sam SE to hold you over. The graphics are first rate.

They're the same, it's just that Epic changed their naming system recently:
Unreal II became Unreal: Episode II
Unreal Tournament 2 became Unreal Tournament 2003
I agree it can get pretty confusing when you throw the console versions in also

I thought UT 2003 was going to come out right after xmas in Q1 2003... and Unreal2 was suppose to come out Q2/Q3 2002. And yes there is a movie somewhere that is like 4 min long. I had it until I reformatted my HDD...it was an ok video...but it didn't do it justice because they actually used a video camera to capture the screan instead of a card w/ video out (probably because of the hit vid out would produce...i guess).

Which means... the demo will be out either end of this month or early May. June is the slated release date... so they've said.
I saw the video of the "pre-alpha" release but they already named it Unreal Tournament 2003 so it is definitely recent. All the weapons are there, the player models are there... Mark Rein does the demo-ing for 30 mins total. The video is 2 parts, each at 150MB. If you want it and you have broadband, shoot me an email.. you will need divx 5 to play it.
