I jusy bought the game and installed . When i try and play online it says "BANNED CD KEY"
Who do i contact about this? The store wont reuturn or refund because it has been opend, but i think it was opened before i purchased it to steal the cd key.

if you have only just bought it they have to take it back (well they do in the uk)

All software resellers in America have a policy of not accepting open software except if its damaged. Return it to the store and say your cd-rom can't read it, but it can read other cds. Act very upset and don't take no for an answer. Good luck.

I have tried everything at the store i purchased it at. They even threatend calling security. What i was wondering if i could get a hold of the manufacturer or somthing? This is rediculous i bought it for online play. Argh :/

contacting the manufacturer would probably be your best bet. just email and/or call them up and explain your situation. i did that when i lost my cd-key for win98se. i called dell tech support (the OS came with my dell pc), they asked me a few questions, and gave me a working cdkey. worked out OK for me. worth trying, at least.

If it was a chain store you could try tracking down the head office and write an indignant letter to the Vice President, or call their office and be indignant and offended. You'll probably come out better for it with a gift cert. or two. Do that regardless of what the manufacturer does for you. Good luck.
