Ok, so I wanted to know if it was a good idea to partition one's hardrive into two, using the same OS (Windows2000 or WindowsXP) in both partitions. One directed for gaming (OS and games installed) and the other for applications (OS and all other applications). Is it a good idea for performence, speed, etc.? Or is it better to leave the entire hardrive for everything (games, applications, OS, etc.).
Split the drive into 2 partitions and install the OS on the first one.
You can install the games one the second partition without haveing to install the OS twice.
Don't waste your time installing the os twice, just seperate the games from the OS.
