    Is operation flashpoint out in canada yet?

    Its out in The us and all the world but can`t find it in canada.

    Operation Flashpoint isn't out in Canada yet, at least I haven't been able to find it. Also, after asking in a couple of shops they didn't even have it on their release lists!?
    This is odd because I read on the OpFlash site that North American release was end of August. Mind you, I've noticed that games are sometimes delayed for Canada. I think they delayed Soldier of FOrtune in BC while they were deciding whether it was too violent

    Anyway, I couldn't wait any longer and so when my sister flies out from the UK on Friday she's bringing me a copy.

    I emailed codemaster and some people said it should be out by this weekend. So i hope this friday ( tomorow ) i will have it.
    I know that my damn futurshop don`t have it. IS there a walmart in vancouver? Maybe they have it.

    Yeah, there's a wal mart over on the north shore isn't there? (I'm not too familiar with vancouver yet). Future shop on Broadway didnt have it, nor did a&b sound and virgin and they hadn't even heard of the game. (typical)

    They've got it at EBworld

    I got a copy today. Just installed it. Crashed to the desktop.

    It wants a 350 meg swap file!! Considering that I've got 512 megs of RAM it shouldn't ever have to touch the swap file.

    Grrr, now I have to defrag and set my swap file 3.5 times bigger to play the game. Stuff like this pisses me off. The game better be good (I've heard its awesome).
