Tribes2 Demo

Has this demo been available for awhile or did I just miss it?

Any way Here it is. I've been waiting for it for quite some time as I didn't want to buy it with out playing the demo. So far i'm not real impressed.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that it is a beta test and not an actual demo. I didn't have any trouble with it though. On-line play wasn't to bad. I guess I just don't get what the big deal is about having a large open terrain like that? It still looks lousey! I'd still rather have a highly detailed smaller map.

Yeah I know what you mean...it was kinda disappointing. The tanks and stuff are hard as hell to control. It has bad netcode (sucks with 56k). And why are the controls so sluggish. I mean the map is so huge and the characters move so slowly.
