black and white problems

When my brother leaves black and white on all night he wakes up in the morning it is sitting on the desktop, not frozzen, just sitting there whats the deal?
ok system is
Asus A7V
AMD Athlon T-bird 1 gig @1.1
3- 128meg pc-133 ram
Radeon 64ddr

what are some suggestions?
oh and its running ME

first: by sitting i mean its just as if you would have just turned it on.

second: cause he is letting his creature grow if you havent played the game you prolly wouldnt understand.

yeah the creature will grow if you leave the game running (as long as the game is self sufficent enough no to have your whole town die on you) memory as in Ram or some other memory problem? its got 3 sticks of 128 pc-133 i guess i could try swapping them out one at a time to see if i could narrow down something.

Yeah it could be heat, Black&White is intensive on the video card, and since even stable-considered systems can't always run 3DMark2000 stable for many hours (always back to the desktop), Black&White would also do that.
