    Question on video ram and Max payne...

    dimme previously posted requirements for running Max Payne. I plan on purchasing a new t-bird in the upcomming weeks but my question is this:
    Can i take my physical RAM and put it towards my geforce2? I have 256mb of physical RAM and 32mb on my vid. card, so could i put say another 32 towards my card? If so how would i do it?

    no, it won't work.

    Only onboard video cards were capable of that, and they were pretty appalling.

    GeForce's have dedicated high speed RAM which it uses. 32megs is substantial for any of today's games.

    64 megs would be even better.. but costs an arm and a leg. My 64 meg GF3 cost around 400 bucks... and took a while to save up for.
