I downloaded it last night, I hadn't heard about it till I read my CGW magazine last night either. So I downloaded it and played it, and man its just awesome. I'll only be the Allies though so I can have the MP1.
Are there any other good mods out there for CS, and where can I download them at?

yaa cs is a halflife mod but it was released in version one and is now available in retail for people who cant downaload it. dod can be run on halflife. try front line force it is an amazing mod, its a mix between cs, capture the flag and deathmatch
Trev, Day of Defeat is a mod for Half Life, specifically version 1.1.0.6. You have to have HL to run any mod, including CS which if you bought the retail, is actually the HL plus the mod. As are Opposing Force and Team Fortress Classic retail boxes. You must have your HL updated to run this mod. DoD is now in beta 1.2, so make sure you have that version or it won't work on the net servers. Day of Defeat is very popular at my gaming cafe, and we just recently found the addon for putting in bots! It pretty easy to do, but the bots aren't very smart, and it is an alpha. We started them on omaha and then it auto changed to sicily, caen, the dam, and back to omaha, but for some reason the bots thought they were still on the dam or another map, because the Allie bots they kept swimming away from the beach into either the left corner or the right corner and the Axis bots kept forming together in corners in the bunker! Is picking for me as an Axis sniper (hehehe) but we figured you have to restart the maps and add the bots each time. Oh, well, still fun whether you play on our lan, or over the net.
