I`m a very huge NBA Live series fan.
I have a question, I`m playing NBA Live 2000 and I think the game is VERY easy!!!
I play with the Phoenix Suns, I do not change the players ratings and I always play in the superstar mode (most dificult).
I kick the cpu`s *** every time, I win in a margin of at least 20 points.
I started a new season, I played about 10 games and didn`t lose any game yet!
1- The game is very easy
or
2- I`m a excelent NBA Live player...
Haven't played 2000, but I do have '96. In my experience EA's games tend to be on the easy side. Like in that '96 version I have it's nothing to beat the computer by 60 or 70 points. Or to have a coule guys on my team score 60+ points. Or to hold the computer scoreless for an entire quarter. I think you get the idea.
Most probably they've made some advances in their AI in 4 years, but it wouldn't surprise me if it's still on the easy side.
Of course I could be wrong and you could be the very best NBA Live player on the face of the earth .

Might as well buy NBA Live 2001 and see if the AI inproved from 2000...I also play NBA Live 2000 and I sort of win about 50% of the time vs the CPU in superstar mode...So I guess you must be a very good player...
Why not get a pair of MS Sidewinder gamepads and instead play vs a human opponent...It is much more challenging. I play this game with my bro most of the time and I enjoy it better than playing with the CPU...
oh yeah, it`m much better playing against a human.
I use the Gravis Game Pad Pro, is it possible to install another one???
I tryied to play in the net but the connection here is very slow (56k!)
Not familiar with that controller... But I guess you could buy another one and link it with your old one so you could play vs a human opponent. I know that the MS Sidewinder gamepad allows up to 4 gamepads to be linked with each other but two is enough for me.
I have 2 MS Sidwinder gamepads as well & they are great. the have a passthrough game port in the back of each pad that allows you to link up to 4 contollers. I'm not sure if they still make that model though? If not, you can always get a USB contoller and hook it up and play VS. against a friend.
NBA Live 2000 is a very easy game even in superstar mode. I go into every game knowing that I am going to win. Actually whenever I play, my goal is to get 200 points. I always get close to or over 200 points. My computer oponents get between 120-150 points. So sometimes I beat them by up to 80 points. So yeah, the game is bad with respect to level of difficulty.
