Look what I found in Diablo2

The Gnashers Hand Axe this is written in yellow
One Hand Damage 3-6
Axe Class - Fast Attack Speed
20% chance of Crushing Blow
50% Chance of Open Wounds
+30 to Attack Rating

It has a durability of 140. And I can sell it for 5000

What is Crushing Blow and Open Wounds??

i guess crushing blow is when you kill them on the spot, and open wounds is when they bleed and lose life over time.. sort of like poison effect.. thats just my guess, though, so don't quote me on this

Crushing blow is a chance to reduce target's health by 50%. It's very useful in high level monster where they have 5000 health. It does not work on bosses, mini bosses, act bosses, and might not even work on pvp.

Open wounds prevents monsters from regeneration health. Especially useful against teleporting bosses. This function is rumored to be bugged.

I would sell that axe since it's base damage sucks bad. Actually all axes sucks.
