I have Outcast and never really got into because of the graphics. That was with my C400. I should give it a try again with my 600e@800. I bet it would play a lot better now. What do people think about it?
Forgot to add Heavy Gear 2 soundtracks aswell. Composed by the same great people who made the MW2 soundtracks Activision

I'm a musician (several genres, from southern rock to blues to classical) and I really appreciate it when a game has a good soundtrack. I'd have to say the best soundtrack is LucasArt's Outlaws hands down. The game is pretty much just another fps (it's got some unique stuff to it, though, like reloading), but the music makes it awesome. It gives it feel that wouldn't be there without it. If you like games with good soundtracks, check e-bay for Outlaws. It's worth listening to the CD by itself easily. Although nowhere near Outlaws, Total Annihilation had a pretty cool soundtrack. Nice and melancholy; added a dark feel to the game. 7th Guest had a really cool tango song called "Skeletons in the Closet" by The Fat Man, too. Parts of Descent 2's soundtrack wasn't bad, either.

I only managed to play all the way through Delta Force with gritted teeth as it look so aweful with it's voxel engine. Distance stuff is ok but close up it looks pants.
No graphics card will help it's just the way the engine works. I recently put Delta Force on again 9as I played it on a V3 before) to see if it looked better on my GTS.
Well it looked worse to me but that might be the fact that newer games are even better now graphically.
Mech Warrior 2 has some of the best tracks I've heard in a game as well as C&C Red Alert, if that kind of music is your thing, Commandos Beyond the Call of Duty also had good music to fire you up for playing the game, any news on another Commandos game ? DD.

Final Fantasy 3(6)! Dont think the game would have been as cool without the music. Notice I said AS cool, the game would still be the best Final Fantasy.

Depends on criteria for the "best" because if that's a catchy tune that you will never ever forget--Super Mario Brothers hands down.
I think FF7 had a great overall soundtrack. Starcraft rocked and the original Tomb Raider had really good ambient music. My personal favorite however will always be Mechwarrior2.
Is it just me or are the soundtracks to sports titles almost always crap?
