I know this isn't exactly legal....but my MM1 cd is getting pretty scratched up. Does anyone know how to make a back-up copy? I have made a back-up before but it would never work because it would fail the verify cd thing since it wasn't the original. I DO own the original cd, but I don't want to eventually have to pay another $40 for one when this cd becomes unusable.

It is legal to backup your own cd's; do a search in the Software forum. It has been discussed numerous times.

Well I posted there to see if someone can help me. A plain copy won't work. You have to do something to make it a playable copy...otherwise what good is it if it won't work. Thanks

If you get the cd crack, you won't have to use the mm1 cd so much... therefore, it won't get scratched anymore.

All you really need the mm1 cd for is for installation... if you have the cd crack.
