    UT power Ups??????

Ok, don't flame me for asking but I like to play UT online occasionally, but I don't have the time to learn every map in tedious detail (like some obviouslly do). I'm therefore at a dissadvantage in some maps because I don't know where all the power ups are?.

Is there any site that has "Maps" of the levels showing Power up locations? For instance, I can't find the invisibality in "Codex of wisdom"

Codex of Wisdom by cliff beleszinski

    start a practise session,

    Tournament Deathmatch, 4th one down.

It's got the room that has a picture with "pretty fly for a white guy" in it that takes your health if you go in.

this is just one I was using as a "for instance", and I will get to learn them EVENTUALLY, but I'm sick of getting fragged by people who constantly have the power ups all the time, simply because I don't know where some of them are.

surely there must be a level walk through site somewhere, at least for the standard game levels, just can't find one.

The question shouldn't be where the power ups are but where is the best place to hide to pick people off! I don't call myself CampingKing for nothing!

Also power ups are fine but I run for the rocket launcher or nuke first so no matter what the guy has, he can't survive 5 rockets coming at him all at once or a single nuke blast!

Lol Possibly,..... I'm not that good at it but do quite well with a ping usually somewhere around 250/300

I love the "Deck16" map because although it must really piss the others off I get up top with the sniper rifle and blow there heads off . +32 up once and I hadn't been killed. I love it when it says "GOD LIKE"

Then some smart *** sends the redeemer in my direction. If you are quick & see it comming you can take it out with the rifle and kill the person who launched it .

People that kick my butt usually know the level inside out and upside down. Hats off to them, (I don't have the time or the sadness to do that), but it does give them an "unfair" combat advantage if they always have the power ups because I can't find one them IMO.

Just want to be sure this is the right map.

I have no idea; where is this room that takes health away. I looked everywhere for that one. I'm going to do some online research.

You should go to www.utworld.net, It has a review of every multiplayer map. It is the Ultimate UT game site.

Thanks for the url Acid Rain, but you'll need to edit the url; you have an . at the end of ...net.

Mentioned nothing about invisibilty though and to tell you the truth, I don't remember any. I'm going to play some bots on godlike and see if they can find it.

Ugh, thank you Diablo 2 for ruining my fragging skills; used to hold my own on masterful, but had to slide it down a notch. But no luck finding the powerup.

ok, in Codex, to get the Invisibility, go to where the Sniper Rifle is at, and shoot the back wall...kinda next to the Sniper rounds. slightly hard to explain, so i took a snapshot, but i can't post them, so if anyone wants the pic, just email me, and i will email it to you. hehe i remember the day i stumbled upon that one, i thought it was something no one would ever find, but sadly i was wrong

Thanks for that I was beginning to think that player was cheating somehow.

    Acid Rain

Thanks for the link, anymore interesting ones out there anyone??

    Huge

(edited:- you have to shoot the wall first) see post below

That is the correct map, and if you take one of the four exits from the main room you are in on your screen shot (one without steps). The one that has a wooden floor and if you turn right there is a wooden lift. don't turn right towards the lift but stand and look at the wall while still just inside the main room. If you wait long enough it will open up and you can go in. There appears no point to it though????
(do this without any players or bots or you'll die before it opens)

Does anyone know the significance of this??

This is a good thread anyone else got maps they want details of???

Then go here to find it open:-

But if I go back and shoot the same wall It won't open again???
