You can still play it at high resolution with a crap load of cool options here:
http://csdoom.sourceforge.net/eng.html

All you need is the Doom2.wad (v.1.9) and you can play multiplayer with csDoom. I couldn't believe how easy it was and how many memories it brought back. Huge might wanna try this

Yep, this time last year, I was playing Doom over the internet on Doomserv. Since then TGO has supposively updated the code and it's supposed to be really good now. If anyone signs up, tell the guys in the lobby Huge sent ya!

Also another bud of mine is making an awesome mod for doom; head on over to Skulltag.

I think I've actualy tinkered around with doomserv before... couldn't get it to work ofcouse

Thank god for csDoom... I was starting to displace Doom in my mind
