How do you run diablo 2 in a window?

I read somewhere that if you add"-w" to the shortcut command line you could run diablo in a window. For some reason I can't get it to work. Anyone know how to do this? Also, do you know if you can run needforspeed high stakes in a window?

As I recall, you put a space and then a -w after exe at the end of the command line for your shortcut. Can't remember whether it's inside or outside of the quotes, but one way should work.
