    site problems?

Am I the only one experiencing site accessibility problems? Every now and then, I'll go to the site (always near the top of my history ) and I'll get a DNS error. I can reach other sites, but not this one. I've cleared the temp files, restarted, cleared the history, tried typing in the root URL (http://www.hardwarecentral.com), releasing/renewing IPs and DNS server addys on my linksys router, still the same problem. (It did this before my spring cleaning format awhile ago too, so it can't be a software issue) It does it on my other system as well. I'm on a cable modem (RoadRunner of Southcentral Kansas). Its probably their net servers, but I was wondering if it wasn't, by chance, your servers ignoring me because of load or whatever.

    Thanks,

    ~Mirlyn

This isn't an official answer, but my gut feeling is that it was a problem at the internet.com end somewhere. VirtualDr and www.mydesktop.com were giving me the same problems as HWC for over an hour before I quit trying. Sharky's seemed fine however. I expect there were a few internet.com techs wondering why that 'On Call' condition in their contract always seems to rear its ugly head just before a long weekend.

hehehehehehehe. *sighs* Thats one good thing about working retail, I suppose.

It does it for about an hour, like you said. Then it'll work fine....I dunno, but thanks for the possible explaination!
