Aiptek HyperPen 5000 Review
While pen-based tablets have been on the market for quite some time now, their high prices have kept them from the mainstream market. However, Aiptek now offers a low cost tablet system, the HyperPen 5000. Is it worth a look?

just wanted to say that i have an aiptek 6000, which is the model that competes more directly with graphire and is priced at about $70. it has the same problems with awkward button placement, but aside from that it's been great. the 6000's tablet size is also quite a bit larger than the graphire's, which makes a big difference. another thing is that aiptek is a great company- i accidentally cracked my pen right on the battery case, and when i emailed them asking if it was possible to order additional pens, they sent one along to me free of charge. the 6000 also comes with a reasonably functional mouse, although you might want to keep your old one.
