MidiLand S4/8200 Speaker System Review

nice.. but.. the ProMedia v.2 -400 still look better to me, and my friends.. I love my klipsch speakers.. they are awsome.. and that 5th speaker.. Downmix..

How do these speakers compare to the ProMedia's? From what I've read the ProMedia's bass rock any other pc speaker system, do they beat the 8200's too?


How is the surround comparison?

I just received the S4 8200 system and the speakers hum when a movie is in a low volume scence. The hum is annoying. Did you guys at hardware central have this problem too?

I've been trying to get a set of Promedia's forever, but they're extremely hard to find. Until I hear them, though, I can't say how they compare...sorry.

whit997384 - as to the hum, no, I didn't experience that at all. Are you using the digital or analog connection? Check the speaker wire connections, as well as the volume levels throughout (system itself, soundcard, and ADS2000). Feel free to drop me an email if you're still having trouble.

To the guy who was wondering if the Promedia has the best Subwoofer sound, I suggest this review.
