How about for know we split the sales forum into uk and us and then take it from there...
no real damage could be done as its only creating a split forum for uk and us??

no problems as far as i can see?

Well I got a little something setup on my site. If HWC isn't going to do it you guys are free to mold this how you like. Click the Consumer link at the top.

    Good Job guys....

So....we need to stick to one board and it looks like mojo's is it.....are we in agreement?

    mojo...
are all the filters in place??
you have total control over that board...is that right?

can you put a U.S. forum in there if you haven't since I checked?

are we ready to go on this?

you might want to announce this in all of the other forums once you're ready to roll.

Good job again to both of you.

Well done guys - a very sensible solution.

Mojo, just a heads-up, EZBoards are nowhere near as secure as UBB.
    Look here:
    http://pub6.ezboard.com/bj5

I note you have not enabled the "Poll" feature? Wasn't that one of your "wants" above?

Latest EZboard has "poll" option, have a look at this - (site found while investigating a hacker but don't let that put you off)
    http://pub7.ezboard.com/frareheadqua...icID=237.topic

Anyone can instigate a Poll and then all can vote.

    Hey guys,

    This is a great idea!

I'm one of the founders of the MyDesktop network of sites, which includes HardwareCentral (I'm proud to have come up with the names for FileFarm, VirtualDr, and WindowsCentral before it got renamed to WinPlanet after MS sent us a note)... We sold the MyDesktop sites to Internet.com last year so we could focus on BuyBuddy.com, our shopping comparison site...

This is a great idea! I'm going to propose to everyone that we setup a forum on the site for members to discuss their experiences with retailers -- we already have a section for information about each retailer that lets people rate and post reviews on retailers, and will be conducting a standardized review in the near future (ordering the same product at the same time from different retailers) and testing the shipping and return service for each one!

If you're interested in helping to moderate these boards, please let me know -- in these boards, but also via e-mail -- mfurdyk@buybuddy.com

We want these to be driven by the community! We're launching a major expansion very soon too, so we definately want to encourage worldwide merchant service discussions!
