Official Election for the Moderator of HWC Off Topic.

    When will it be?
It might as well be this thread if it`s ok with the admins and webmaster.

I`m posting under my new [junior member] name, which I created especially for the event that I could/would be elected as the new [co-]mod for the Off Topic forum.

I have little to say for myself, except that I have the experiance of being here for about 6 months, being the owner and admin of www.phrea.com and admin of the POF, which is the forum cluster at phrea.com.

    Am I pushy?
Yes, I actually am [kinda]... I think this job should be done by somebody who is level headed and has a low profile, for objectivity is important for such a job as this one.

I`ll step aside for Collinj if he is serious about his proposal.

Let`s finally get this show on the road.

    Hey Phrea...

I remember you showed up during the Dutch invasion and were the only one to stick around on a regular basis.

You seem to be a solid individual and would no doubt make a fine moderator.

    Good Luck

Collinj is serious about his proposal and is also serious about his interest in co-moderating the forum with me.

My vote is to accept an offer to co-moderate with Collinj

Collinj and I both appreciate all the support you guys have given both of us!

    Thank you!

brainsoft can have the job but I think he's got a better deal coming.

    Back that up with something...

You guys keep accusing me of generalized nonsense and then never bother to back it up or provide any proof or examples of what you are reffering too?!? I've asked repeatedly for info as to what you are talking about when you guys say things like this, but conveniently...no one ever responds to those requests!

Go ahead and tell me Sin2, flavio, Rich, and Deanril...

    Otherwise knock it off!

I don't know what's your beef with Dean, Rich and Flav. It might help to work it out with them. Their support is a must to get the gig.

Mine with you is all fun and games.

But if want to know here goes...

As soon as the 1Ghz is released I'll buy it like I've said in the past I would. Whether it's Intel or AMD I don't care

I said I'd buy the first CPU over 1Ghz regardless of whether it's from AMD or Intel...we'll see who's gonna get my money here soon hopefully!

    You're kidding right?

I decided to hold out for two 1500Mhz CPU's...I see no reason to spend $2000.00 for two 1000's when the bigger guys will likely be out in just a few weeks for a similar price.

As far as Rich, flavio, and Deanril...I have absolutely nothing against them. However, they have all said things similar to what you have concerning my integrity and I mentioned them simply to find out what their beef with me is.

OK. I'll take your word for it again. Why didn't you say you're looking at 2 cpus and Intel specifically? Because AMD doesn't have a dual setup. Looks like I am going to have to bring this up in about 2 months. And you'll have to change platforms because AMD will hit 1.5g first.

    Good point Sin2...

    Okay, here ya go:
I'm looking for Intel platform CPU's over 1Ghz that I feel are worth the money I will be paying for them. When I find that, I will buy them. If AMD comes out with CPU's that support Dual Processing, I will consider those also!

    Like that better

#1 just where in the hell are you going to get a 1000mhz Intel???? (its all paper)

#2 do you have $3000+ to spend on some paper?

you may wish to wait for AMD t-bird and a dual board, ill bet in oh let say 2 months tops ,you can get the board and 2 t-birds 1.2ghz for less than $2000 ,do you want to make a bet?

also DDR ram(alot cheaper than non existant rdram )

#3 SkySlash has my official un-nomination for moderator...........

    Btw hows the DDR board?
