I just installed some new Kingmax PC2700 tiny BGA. This stuff is nice! So far, 150FSB is not a problem. I was wondering though, does it hurt the memory a lot by bumping the voltage up? Default is 2.55v, but I have bumped it to 2.65v for stability purposes. I'm running 150FSB at CAS 2 and settings os 2-5-2.
How much does thie added voltage shorten the life of the memory? Those of you overclocking, what voltage are you running your DDR at?
How much of a memory O/C gain are you guys getting from upping your DDR voltage?
I used to get 180MHz out of Crucial PC133 by using 3.6V, but my initial experimentation with 2100DDR didn't prove as successful. Might try again if it's really worth it. What d'ya think?

Just replaced a Zoom PCI modem that bit the dust at 150mhz........
Anyways, at 150mhz FSB, the Crucial was not stable at all, even at the CAS 2.5 3-6-3 and 2.75v setting. That is a pretty good voltage increase, and may be why one stick died!!! Anyways, this Kingmax is stable at 150 FSB and aggressive CAS 2 with the 2-5-2 settings and I only bumped it to 2.65v to insure stability. I did not test it with a lower voltage. I've been running Sandra Burn in for a day now, and ran 3D Mark 2001 overnight yesterday to test things. So far, no lock ups or blue screens. If 2.65v won't hurt, I'll leave it there since things seem to work well.... I was just wondering what seems to be a safe voltage setting based on what others are running.
