Overclocking DDR Ram

How safe is it to overclock RAM?
I had mine running at 350 MHz and it diddn' crash in Sandra but I am wondering if that can do permanent damage.
Is it likely that if it works it's safe and visa versa?
The RAM is a 256 Meg Stick of Samsung DDR

decent RAM for 175MHz FSB, did you have to up the voltage?

If you dont increase voltage you ram should be fine. Even so ram (and most other computer components) will almost always crash your computer before it damages itself.
