My Athlon XP1600 Hits 1.74Ghz!!

Hi there. Today i managed to get my new XP chip to 1.74ghz using a vcore of 1.8v
Unfortunately my PSU cant cut it so to get my 1.8v i have to set the bios to 1.85v
Temps are only 30c ! 35c under load i expect. I touched the alpha and it aint even warm.
Ah well 1.74ghz is good enough for now.

Nice! When I unlock this thing, my goal is 1.78ghz by 11.5x155...probably 2.0v+ if my PSU can handle it. I have gotten it up to 1.66ghz before using 10.5*158 with like 1.775v and stock cooler. These stock coolers aren't as bad as everyone says once you take the P.O.S. thermal grease off. My idle temps are better than yours, but your full load temps beat me out by like 15*C! These stock coolers just can't handle a TON of power I guess, but its fine for light to medium use (light gaming, DVD, benching, etc.). I just can't run my Seti@home on it though which kind of annoys me.

In any case, GOOD JOB! That's amazing with air! Now I know that my 1.78ghz goal isn't all that far off if we're hittin 1.75ghz!
