    Power Supply

    I have had my computer for about 2 years and now it doesn't turn on. Today when i tried turning it on it turned on for about 1 second and then turned off and didn't turn on again. I checked the power switch and if everything is plugged in correctly but it still doesn't work. If anyone has had this problem or knows what I should do then please tell me.

    get another psu,if the computer still doesn't work then you can rule out the power supply.

    Is there anyway for me to find out if the power supply works without buying a new one?

    If it changes anything my computer had a strange smell when this happened (burnt plastic or something) so i'm guessing something got fried.

    Take it into a shop, unless you have electrical equipment?
