Bummer, parts missing on order
Well I got my new ALPHA 8045 a couple days ago from PC Nut. Very nice but the finish on the bottom was not up to snuff. Carefully lapped it and it is a beauty now. Read all the instructions, both the printed ones and the online version. Was all ready to go. Today I stripped the PC apart to take out the mobo [must do to install the ALPHA], cleaned up all the grubby fans, etc. OK, all done and ready to go OH NO!!! The 4 mounting springs for the heatsink were not included. Did not even notice till I opened up the little screw packages. Damn, now I have to wait another week to get 4 stupid springs shipped to me. Back to the Glaciator till they get here. Places ought to check stuff over before they ship it.
