I am looking for a awesome case to build a new comp for cus right now i got P166 24mb which really sucks. Im planning to upgrade to a AMD athlon either 550 or 600.
You might want to look at the Antec ks-188.
the website is www.antec-inc.com. It's
a little cheaper then the Supermicro and
is not a bad case. I just bought one and
I'm happy with it so far. 300W power
supply - 7 internal bays- 5 external - and
pretty good interior design. check it out.
I saw this fulltower case that i liked but it has one internal 3.5 bay and i want to put more then 1 hard drive. Can i still put 2 hard drives some way? Thanx for any help
if u see any other good cases post em please thanx.
try ANTEC full tower case. it's what i have. 300W power supply and 13 (yes 13) drive bays and 3 different places to stick fans. not to mention the motherboard part is sliding making upgrades easy.

I've had my Antec 830sx for about a year. Paid $90 plus shipping, I think its out there for less now. It is extremely roomy, no mb tray, but you don't need it. Stays nice and cool. Side entry is very easy, had a little handle (flush w/side) and comes right off, locks if you want. I've used 4 other cases. This is the best for the buck!

I have the Supermicro 750A as well. It seems that on the newer models, they are including a 120mm fan opening in the rear, right next to the CPU. In addition, it comes with a 92mm fan blowing out the back at the top of the case, provisions for 4 80mm fans on each side of the 5.25" bays, and 3 80mm intake fans in the front. I'm sure with all the fans installed, this think will sound like a vaccum cleaner, but you shouldn't have to worry about the case staying cool.
Its basically an Addtronics 7890, without the drive rails, and slide out MB tray. If you don't care about either, you can probably save a few bucks going with the Supermicro case instead of the Addtronics.
This case has a ton of room, and has moveable mounts for the hard drive cage and a backup fan for the CPU. This is a big advantage when you have hot running HD's like 10k+ RPM SCSI drives, like I do. I have my HD's right next to the 92mm exhaust fan up top, or you can elect to keep the mount in the stock location, and have one of the 80mm intake fans blow right over it. I elected to put mine up top because I didn't want the hot air from the HD getting blown all over the CPU and MB, really, it keeps the major heat producers in my computer spaced well apart, therefore, I'm able to run a few programs with my CPU just a few degrees above ambient temperature. At idle, the CPU is at ambient.
