Got the power thing sorted, sweet.

Now though it doesn't find any IDE channels whatsoever. Nothing. I remember having the same problem with the 133A but for the life of me I can't remember how I solved it..

Doesn't find any IDE channels ? Hmm...you probably tried both sets of IDE connectors (if your board has a RAID controller), sure there isn't an option in the BIOS to enable/disable the IDE controllers ?

yeah, fiddle around with the BIOS, the KT7a RAID has quite a few IDE setting what with the RAID controller.
