I have an Athlon 800 right now inside an Enlight 7237. I'm moving to a tropical country soon and thought I'd like to pick up a new case. I'd take the case, but even if I mod the 80mm (to 92mm) hole in the back, there isn't enough space to bore another hole.
Here's what I'm basically looking for.
*if this exhaust combination exists.
- mid-Tower ATX
- sliding panel (without having to take the front-panel off)
- 1 blowhole 92mm (back)
- 1 blowhole 80mm (back)
I'll be putting in an Enermax 350 watt PS.
1 92mm Panaflo
1 80mm Panaflo (which I already have)
OR...
- mid-tower ATX
- sliding panel (without having to take the front-panel off)
- 1 120mm blowhole (back)
* for a Panaflo 120mm fan
thanks for the help.
BTW. I don't really mind what the case looks like outside.

Look into the Elan Vital Aegis T-15. It has two separate chambers that divide the the power supply area from the motherboard area. I use this case and really like it. I have been using the same one for the last 2 years. When I bought it before, it was about US$ 300.00 but it should be much cheaper now.
The motherboard area is nice too. It probably has enough space for you to bore that 92MM hole you're talking about.
I also would go for the Antec SX1030! In fact, I ordered mine last night in Black, the SX1030B!!! It is coming from www.microbarn.com and was $79.00 US with $22.00 US shipping. Locally they are going for $145.00 plus tax!!!
You may have to settle for the Antec SX1030 or SX1040 with only the (2) 80mm fans in back. Finding a case with the 92mm will be a little tougher. Any specific reason your looking for the 92mm? Just wondering....
Yeah it looks like I'll be getting the sx 1030 as well. (specially after reading all the reviews linked on the Antec site)
well I just wanted to see if I could get 92mm blowholes because I wasn't too fond of having too many 80mm fans in the case. I have 2 right now and they're a bit loud for my liking.
the Panaflo 92mm fans are rated to be quieter and have much better cfm ratios to boot....plus I'm moving to a place that's around 30-35ºC the whole year round.

i just looked at the back of my case (antec SOHO)... look like there is enough room back there to trim a way a little metal and jam in 2x92 rather than 2x80. i'd also like to grab a couple low speed, low noise 92's and get rid of my loud sunon 80's. if you want a 120 on the antec, yer gonna be doing some major cutting on the top or side.

they have a decent looking case with a 92mm hole in the back and 2 built-in USB ports in the back (extremely useful for me). and its only 35$. Unfortunately it only has 1 x 3.5" drive bay (WTF is with that!?)

I had those Sunons as well. they blow out a lot of heat, but the noise sucks!
I've used a server case that had openings like that and despite how restrictive they may seem, air does flow quite well. Not to mention, it's MUCH easier to cut the grill out then to cut a whole new circle from 80MM to 92MM let alone to 120MM.
Panaflo 120MM fans make 69 CFM @ 30.0 dBA. You probably can't hear them above any standard 26CFM 60MM fan (AddA/YS Tech/SunOn) because they make 37.0dbA.

Anyone know if someone sells the Antec case without a power supply? I have a brand new Enermax 350w PS...obviously I'd like to save the money on both the case and shipping if I can. For that matter, what quality cases are out there that are sold without a power supply?
