A man's computer SHOULD be loud!
If I wanted a cute, timid and meek little computer, I'd get a Crapintosh!

Does anyone know how it compares to the 27.2cfm YS-TECH fan in terms of noise.
I can't stand the racket of the YS-Tech that I'm currently using.
Might go for a FOP-1 sometime.

That YS tech is quite a bit quieter than the Delta so you would be not be happy with one

These things are so loud that people in my house always complain when I leave the door to my room open, and sometimes I have to shut down my PC just to understand what people are saying on the phone . Yet the sound never really bothered me personally somehow...

I have 3 Delta 38s running! 1 on the cpu, & 2 cut in the side for blow holes, a total of 8 fans running, the sweet sound of a 3HP vacuum cleaner! hehe! It will give you a headache after 2 hrs of UT, but 23-35*c looks nice.

At first I thought this fan was loud, but after adding 10 other fans to my Inwin Q500a I couldnt hear it over everything else.
Since I moved to the Lian-Li PC-60, I am notcing this fan again. I just bought 3 more at a computer show for $10 a piece (couldn't pass up this deal).
I think I will try to mod them to run at 7V and see what kind of flo they produce.

I don't mind constant , unchanging sounds, even if they're quite loud. I've got a BLORB, 80mm suckhole, 80mm blowhole, FOP32-1, PSU and KT7-RAID fan all running and it doesn't bother me (I admit though, quite a modest setup by HWC standards). The thing that really pisses me off is when fans start whining:
"Oooo... Oooo... Oooo... Ooor... Oorr... Aorr... Aorr... Arrr... Arrr... Arrg... Arrg... Argg... Argg... Argh... Argh... ARGH!... ARGH!... ARGH!... ARGH!"
Time for some oil.
MuFu.
P.S. 'Scuse me if I got a bit carried away with the Oooh's and "Aaahh's.
