For the hell of it i sold a buddy of mine my 266 FSB 1.2Ghz Athlon and got a 1.3Ghz 266Fsb
for 250 quid!now thats a decent price!
Any opinions on the yeild? do they overclock well?
BTW, i was lucky as hell, they had only 15 left in stock!

The 1.3Ghz is a 100/200Mhz bus. The 1.33Ghz is the 133/266Mhz bus. Which do you have?

As for yeilds. I have heard reports that the 1.33Ghz is overclocking well past 1.5Ghz and with something like a VapoChill case or peltiers with water cooling it will likely hit the 1.6-1.8Ghz range. Liquid Nitrogen successfully got a 1.33Ghz to 2.05Ghz.

Well it is officially out now so more places will be selling it openly now. Tom's Hardware reviewed the 1.33 and said he easily hit 1.466Ghz with STOCK voltage and COOLING. He said it was amasing ly cooler than he expected. Another site, OC Workbench I think, hit 2.15Ghz with NO2 and 1.7Ghz with air cooling. They did need a voltage mod to hit 2.0v for both.
