Your temperature is normal.
The cpu core can get a maximum temperature of 95° C.

AMD has stated that the Tbird core is good for 90ºC but 70ºC is the real limit.

I wouldn't think its life would be very long though.

90C is the CORE temp. any measuring device will register a lower temp away from the core, and as the core temp goes up the difference between it and away from it grows, so when you're reading 30C the inside might be 50C... when you read 90C the core is most likely well over boiling. butAMD says 90C won't kill the core (if it isn't crashing constantly, that is)
