Changing ram settings from Cas 3 to Cas 2??

hey guys,
Just a quick questions agian about ram. How do I change my ram from =cas 3 to cas 2? CMOS?

You should have Chipset Features section in BIOS...look for memory settings/timings Exit and save changes to CMOS, reboot, and you should be good to go(provided your RAM can handle Cas2 )

And what if it doesn't? I have been wanting to try CAS2 for ages now but I don't want to screw anything up and I don't want to have to open up the case and reset the CMOS.

Would my 256mb of PC100 NVRAM be ruined if CAS2 didn't work? What's the worst thing that could happen?
