How much can u O/C a Cel. 800?

Is the new Celeron 800/100 FSB multiplier lock or not? If not, how much can U o/c it?
My assumption would be
8.0M X 133FSB=1064 GHZ
9.5M X 112FSB=1064 GHZ

Will it have the same overclockability as PIII 800E?

no, and not too far beyond where it is. er something. doubtful many will hit 133 fsb.

my theory on cpu's, the first highest speed cpu is just an overclocked version of an older cpu and can't be overclocked too much more. so the new cel 800 is probably an overclocked cel 766 with just a higher bus speed. since intel decided to increase the bus speed to 100mhz no more 66mhz.. no more jumping from 66mhz bus speed to 100mhz to overclock

or i could be just wrong, anybody want to comment? (its 3:15 or s)!

Thats true! the new wonderfull Celeron 800 is NOT for overclockers period. its for OEM PC builders. the best Celeron is the cC0 1.7v 600, they will do 900+ mhz 90% of the time, add some volts & good cooling & it might do 1000!

To paraphrase some of the contributors here.. Informed OC'ers won't go near this chip.. They are going to have to price this chip close to the P3 800 .. And one is as likely to make a gig as the other.. And your going to have to get the C2 to a gig before it will perform as well as the P3 doing 800..

This is not an overclockers chip....
