GOOOAAAAALLLLLLL !!! Finally figured out freeze up problem - T-Bird 850@1GIG
Thanks to a post over at AMDZone I was able to get this puppy movin. Previous attempts to get over 900 failed miserbly thanks to my Logitech USB 3D wingman Extreme software. A fellow over at AMDZone was having the identical problems which were cured by uninstalling and reformatting. I didn't want to reformat so I just uninstalled my Wingman software and viola.
Able to run stable at 1 Gig, but I'm going to let it burn in a while at 945 ( 9*105, 1.75v). CPU temps are running at 48C, with a case temp of 28C. And to think I was going to go and get a new P/S. Thanks to all for responses on my previous topics.
Downloaded the latest version of the Wingman software, installed it after getting rid of the original version, now everything is up and running fine. I wonder how many other people have been stumped by this one! Needless to say, I'm a pretty happy camper.

Abit KT7
Voodoo3-2K@172mhz
128 mb PC-133 (Micron)
SORB Cooler (Max. CPU temp. 50C, Max case temp. 29C)
SB 16
Fujitsui 8.4 ATA 33
Kind of makes me think if maybe some random piece of software I have is preventing me from posting my 800 at 1000

A man is offered either infinite wisdom, or infinite money. He chooses the wisdom, thinks for a minute, and realizes he should have taken the money.
It said "requires Windows 95 or better," so I installed Linux.
I think as a rule of thumb, at least for me from now on, people who are intent on overclocking there rigs should first do it on a bare bones system. Would of saved me alot of grief over a few days. Keep pluggin away warhorse, there's a Gig in that system somewhere.

The trouble is you never know what can be holding you back for sure, I once had a modem that was seriously holding back my overclock and I only found the problem when I swapped it out for a better modem later.
Needless to say the old modem got a Viking funeral.
