Anyone O/C ed an Athlon in this Gigabyte mobo?

I have a Gigabyte GA-7IXE Mother board and an Athlon 700 T-Bird (Slot A – currently running at 700). Can any one tell me how far I can go with this mobo?. I have heard that this board is not very overclockeble. (I haven’t overclocked before) . Can some one help me?

I haven't over clocked with that board, but i have a GA-5AX SS7 MB that has my k6-3+ 450@575. So Gigabyte has been good for overclocking with me.

With Slot A overclocking you'll need some GOLDFINGERS before you can start overclocking.

GOLDFINGERS? Does that mean I have to rip open the plastic case of the processor? . I was thinking of an easy way, like O/C ing the bus or the multiplier. But the problem is I don’t think I can change the multiplier or the CPU voltage in this board. I have heard about the Afterburner card , do they really work?, and how do they exactly overclock the CPU?

GoldFingers will let you change the voltage and the multiplier, as well as a few other things, dependent on model. Easiest and best way to overclock slot A Athlon.
