Turning off fans with software???

I have three very noisy case fans on my computer connected with the 3 pin adapters.

Is there any way of turning them off with programs? There must be a way, as they turn off in suspend mode.

I just want to be able to turn them on and off easily.

Motherboard Monitor does have an inbuilt CPU warm up feature, that can suspend the fans from thier headers, i think it realy depends upon your Motherboard though.
