I'm building a system for my friend that consist of:
Asus p3b-f
P3 700E fcpga
128Mb generic PC133
15Gb IBM ide
Creative TNT2 Ultra (used, he got it cheap)
SbLive 1024
The first thing is to overclock it to 933Mhz, but would a GlobalWin FDP32 keep it cool enough?

FDP-32 will work fine, thats what I use, but you really need a copper spacer to level out the sink, you could make 1 if you can find the materials, or buy 1 for 12.00 at 3DFX cool, I swapped out the 25 cfm fan with a 38 cfm model, it works great! but kinda loud.
600E @ 800 cA2 core, 23*c.
Thanx, flat-v8!
I'll set it up without the spacer to see what temps it generates (using MBM4). If they're too high i'll prolly make a spacer for him.
I've had my 500E @ 700 in a similar setup with a FDP32, don't think the temps where higher than 40-45C at high cpu load.
