My Dell Dimension XPS T450 system uses the W149H clock generator so I decided to see how far I could push it with SoftFSB. Well...I can't seem to push it anywhere because after I pick the clock generator and click Get FSB my whole system hangs. Anyone have any ideas on what I could do to get this to work? Or maybe it's supposed to freeze and I'm just not waiting long enough?
i had the same problem with my SE440BX-2 MotherBoard using W149H clock generator chip. As this board is made by INTEL, so they wont allow ppl to overclock on their own boards....dell usually use INTEL motherboards....
if u r using SE440BX-2 board then i guess u r out of luck to overclock.....may be um wrong...but i searched about 2 months to find any overclocking software for this board... now i have AOpen AX6BCPro
