Anyone have the DP2-5H54 on your Athy?

It is from coolermaster. If you have one...how the hell do you get it off? My athy came with it on, and I don't know how to get it off. I want to use silver thermal compound instead of the crappy stuff that is already on there. Thanks.

Thanks for the pics. Sure its an easy installation...but try taking it off. I still haven't figured it out. All I could find on their site was how to install it.

It looks like the tool they provide (which I'm sure you did not receive ) slides into the metal bracket and then you lever it to open it enough to slip it over. You may have to adapt a tool to do this...

I have the stupid little tool. But somehow you have to pull out and up in order to get the heatsink off, but it is impossible or nearly impossible to do with that tool. The little piece with the hole on it slides over the small hook on the clip. But if you try to lift up it slides off and pulling of doesn't work either. I don't know what to do. I think I am going to have to write to coolermaster.

I finally got it off. Boy was it a pain. I would not recommend anyone get this for their athy. I didn't think I would ever get it off.
