I just bought a socket-A thunderbird 750 and
Asus A7V and would like to overclock. Comp-u-plus gave me a coolermaster fan but it
only goes up to 850 mhz. I would like to o/c to 900mhz. What fan should I get to accomplish this? Thank you very much.
Where did you get your coolermaster? What do you mean IT only goes up to 850 ? Like it wont chill after that ? I am currently building a fan system of my own due to lack there-of.
The coolermaster was bundled with the thunderbird from an online store(comp-u-plus). The model is DP5-5G11.
I checked out the specs at the coolermaster website and it says that it supports up to 850 mhz for thunderbirds. I am new at overclocking, so I don't know which cpu coolers are good or bad.
dont take any notice fo the rating of it, just try overclocking your cpu and keep an eye on your temps, if they are getting too high then you really need to get something more powerful,
