    Alpha PEP66 with Delta fan?

I heard that the delta fan on the alpha is quite loud and recommened not to plug power straight into omtherboard? Is the sunon fan version still good?
Also Alpha is basically the top coolers? How does the golden orb match?

Yes the delta is loud and I would not plug it into the mobo's fan header, connect it to a 4 pin off the P/S. The YS tech or the sunon will work but if you decide to get into peltier cooling the delta will really help the heatsink with all the heat.

The alpha is a full step above the orb, worth it

I understand there is also the YS-Tech or Sunon fan options...YS-Tech being stronger and louder then sunon....delta sounds bit too loud...go for ystech? sunon are apparently heaps more quiter? but i want the xtra power of ystech also...

I think that is a good compromise

The Sunon fan is very quiet and cools very well. Dunno why you would need that loud YS Tech fan. The PEP66 cools those little FC-PGA slugs so well you really don't need one of those obnoxiously loud fans anyway.

The YS tech just doesn't seem that loud to me.

Maybe that's because I'm listening to 2 6000rpm deltas on my 3125s and a 120mm YS tech blow hole!

I'm just wondering if any revolutionary heatsink/fans are gonna come out?
Alpha haven't really changed their design or released a very new model....i suppose u can only construct a heatsink/fan to do so much
