When making water/freon coolers etc, how are they made? Are they just small hollow blocks of metal which allow water to pass through? If so I was wondering if it would work better if you created a block out of an existing heatsink - Just put sides and a top on, solder it shut, and drill the hose connections in the sides. If it was done like this, then wouldn't the water block be more effective?
If waterblocks are made around heatsinks already, ignore me
