Alpha PEP66?
I've got a celeron 2 566mhz on slotkey...wondering is alpha pep66 the best ehatsink/cooler i could get for this?
Also what is the US$ price on these? I've seen it at coolerguys.com for $37.95...any other sites be good

Make sure it has the ys-tec fan and not the Sunon fan...that could be the differance in price..

This one is $36 but you get the 38cfm Delta fan. This thing flat gets with it

You don't need that noisy YS-Tech fan with the PEP66. I've got my PEP66 with the quiet Sunon and my PIII 700 @ 970 MHz never gets over 32C in Q3 or UT. The PEP66 is so well designed that the YS-Tech fan makes very little difference in cooling efficiency.

I think that 38 cfm PEP66 is the best buy.

Maxout - Yes, air only, no water or peltiers, but I do run Rain 2.0.

The reason I suggested the high power version is that it will deal with Peltier heat much better than the stock fan. I don't know if he is interested in going down that road but other than the noise it does cool very well
