First, I am gettin wierded out by its performance. Im running UT and Q3A at 1024x768x16 w/ 2x FSAA, and gettin very near to 45 fps IN BOTH. Thats wierd no? Shouldn't UT be faster? Also, I would love to OC this card, I did my voodoo3, but on my first try it couldn't take 171 mhz >: (. There appears to be gobs of heat compound, so I'm gonna scrape some of that off and try and get it real nice and even and see what happens. make sense?

Did u do the driver fix all the toher sites talked about i looks like u r experienceing the problem with slow FPS, it is not the card it is the drivers. u should put Bigger heatsinks on the Chip also the factory heatsinks are held on buy glue and are not even not very goo for heat trans fer take them off and put on thermal paste and prob u should put in bgger heatsinks. U have to look around how to fix the drivers look on hardocp.com or go to 3Dfx.com and look around in the foum and stuff they explain it. Sorry i couldn't be of more help
Yeah I think I did that right. I did update driver and changed it to voodoo5. I am gonna try ripin those off and putting on paste, hopefully then overclock, thats usually good for the next highest resolution.

Heymake sure u did it right because lots of people had thought they did it correctly and turns out they didn't and got the same bad performance, just checkin though. Ya bigger sinks should help even a bit of thermal paste can go a long way trust me!
if you want higher performance i suggest you turn off 2x FSAA and turn on 32 bit colors...i did FSAA on my 2 gts hercules and at 1024x768x32 i watched a interesting demo001- ran kinda slow, not sure how fast or slow though

The Voodoo5 dosen't have the slow down a GF2 GTS has because of the way they render the FSAA the GF2 GTS has to render it from 2 times to 16 time where as a Voodoo only has to reder it 2 times for 2XFSAA and 4 times for 4XFSAA. That is why the GF 2 GTS has a greater slow down then a Voodoo5. I still don't know what is wrong with RAMs Voodoo5 i will do some reading tonite and see if i find anything that can help!
