new bios chip for Soyo 6ba-iv board?

anybody ever order an eprom Ic bios chip from Soyo or any other suppliers is it worth the bother or should i just dump the board and write it off as (another) 200$ paper weight?

Help if you can please any info apprecticate.

If you know the suppliers who deal with Soyo MB they should be able to change it for you. I believe it is still covered under your warranty. If not the chip is roughly about $20 bucks or so.
